Liverpool transfer: Moises Caicedo urged to stay as midfielder interest confirmed
In the last days of the January transfer window, Liverpool fans are eager to see their team bolster its midfield options for the remainder of the season.
If Liverpool wants to make any more transfers during the January transfer window, time is running out.
With a need need to strengthen their midfield, manager Jurgen Klopp has already expressed a desire to bolster his team after insisting he is not “too loyal” to his players.

Cody Gakpo, an attacker from PSV Eindhoven, was the sole addition made thus far this month. The Reds’ fans will be eager to see at least one late addition to the squad this month given that they are currently sitting in ninth position in the Premier League.
Liverpool is considering several central midfielders, including Brighton’s Moises Caicedo, although the south coast club has been persuaded to hold onto the Ecuadorian.
Caicedo announced on social media on Friday that he intended to leave Brighton for a “magnificent opportunity” this month. Chelsea and Arsenal have made offers of £55 million and £60 million, respectively, for the player.
Stan Collymore, a former Reds player turned analyst for Mirror Football, thinks the Seagulls should stick onto the talented midfielder and avoid turning into a “selling club” in the top division.
“The fact Caicedo is a target for Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea this month is another testament to Brighton’s recruitment,” Collymore explained.
“But the Seagulls need to hang on to him because, if they are serious about challenging for Europe regularly, then they must become a destination club rather than a stepping stone to bigger things.”
