Liverpool recieves major transfer boost as Brighton set new Asking price for Moises Caicedo amid strong transfer links to Liverpool and Manchester United

Brighton and Hove Albion are reportedly willing to sell Moises Caicedo, according to reports with top premier league teams eager to sign the superstar.

But Caicedo won’t be cheap; the Seagulls are demanding a record-breaking sum for the midfielder, who is also sought after by Manchester United, Newcastle, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool.

The Ecuadorian international has only made 22 appearances for the club, scoring two goals and providing two assists. He only moved to the South Coast in January 2021.

Nevertheless, because of his standout performances, Brighton is prepared to cash in on the 20-year-old and has set an £85 million asking price for him, according to the Sunday Mirror.

Marc Cucurella, Ben White, Yves Bissouma, Dan Burn, and Neal Maupay were among the greatest players sold by Roberto de Zerbi’s team over the past year or so for a total £162 million in profit.

With former Brighton manager Graham Potter now at Stamford Bridge and Dan Ashworth, the Seagulls’ former technical director and the person who brought Caicedo to the Amex, now working for the Magpies, Chelsea and Newcastle are seen as the favorites to recruit Caicedo.

While Caicedo won’t be inexpensive, he is perhaps seen as more attainable than Dortmund and England star Jude Bellingham. Liverpool and United are also interested in Caicedo because both teams want to increase the depth of their midfield.
