Liverpool are a team I would love to play for” – Liverpool recieve major transfer boost as £48m Brazilian star midfielder sends emotional transfer message to Liverpool as a potential Fabinho successor
Liverpool may have ideal midfield transfer option in £48m Brazilian who dreams of Anfield
If a transfer occurs, a Flamengo midfielder who has been linked to Liverpool and wants to play for the Reds might succeed Fabinho at the club.
Over the previous ten or so years, Liverpool has had a respectable history with Brazilians.

The spine of Jürgen Klopp’s all-conquering team currently consists largely of Alisson and Fabinho, both of whom have excelled since signing in the summer of 2018.
Naturally, Roberto Firmino has been the center of attention for Liverpool fans over the past seven years.
However, the perpetually cheerful Brazilian has also had a significant impact on the success of Jurgen Klopp’s team.
Even Fábio Aurélio performed admirably for Liverpool while wearing red, and the recent success of Brazilian athletes may now continue as the team is rumored to be interested in Flamengo midfielder Joo Gomes.
The young man recently expressed to ESPN Brazil his dream to play for Liverpool one day, following in the footsteps of players like Fabinho, Coutinho, and Firmino.
“Liverpool are a team I’d play for. I have the greatest desire to play,” he said (via Sport Witness).
“Playing in the Champions League is my biggest dream and that of my family, my biggest dream in football.”
Gomes has established himself as one of Flamengo’s most promising players during the previous two seasons, and this season with the lengthy Brazilian season spanning from April to November owing to the World Cup he has truly come into his own.
Gomes has played in 43 games so far, with one goal and two assists. Even though those numbers don’t look alluring, scoring goals and setting them up aren’t his strong suits.
Gomes, a midfield destroyer who excels at disrupting the opposition’s play, is more like to Fabinho than Firmino in that sense.
Gomes is quick and can dribble, and according to O Dia and the Brazilian Serie A, he succeeds in 75% of his tries.
Valued by his club side at £48m, according to Diario do Fla, Gomes would not come cheap, but is hugely highly rated. Only time will tell if Gomes gets his dream move.
