Journalist tips Liverpool to complete the signing of £70m outstanding midfield target
Wolves could be tempted to do an early deal with Liverpool for the sale of Ruben Neves, according to reports.
When Brighton defeated Jurgen Klopp’s team 3-0 on Saturday, the Reds’ midfield weaknesses were once again cruelly highlighted.

In his press conference on Friday, the German manager had stated that it was extremely doubtful that he would be adding any more players to his roster during the January transfer window.
However, Liverpool’s chances of qualifying are starting to dwindle, and its fans are clamoring for some new blood in the middle of the field to help turn things around.
Neves’ refusal to agree to a new deal at Molineux benefits Liverpool. Although he was once regarded as highly, the Portugal international’s current contract only has 18 months left.
The Mirror claims that might persuade Wolves to sign a contract with Liverpool right away rather than take the chance of losing him for nothing in 18 months or receiving a worse offer in the summer.
Neves made an impression during last week’s 2-2 FA Cup Third Round stalemate between the two teams at Anfield.
