Jose Enrique spots huge underlying issue for Liverpool amid unreliable form
Since the 2022–23 season began, there has been great concern over Liverpool’s midfield.
Pre-existing issues with the department have been made worse by injuries and bad play, with Jose Enrique emphasizing the lack of assists from players like Jordan Henderson and company on Twitter.

OX – October 2021 VS Britghon
Henderson – February 2022 VS Leeds
Keita – October 2022 VS ManU
Jones – October 2021 VS ManC

Thiago Alcantara is a player who excels at controlling play and dictating the speed of the game, therefore his lack of goal contributions is not a major issue.
Given that the forward line occasionally struggles to deliver the game-changing contributions we require, it is easy to see why a lack of goal contributions from our other options is so aggravating.
It should be remembered that during much of Jurgen Klopp’s tenure, our flying fullbacks have provided the majority of the creative energy, with the midfield acting as the motor and cover required to support the expansive play occurring elsewhere on the field.
It’s possible that the 55-year-old needs to make some adjustments now that the German tactician has switched to a 4-4-2, but it’s unlikely that he will be able to make any significant adjustments in that regard until the next transfer window.
