Brighton and Hove new manager Roberto De Zerbi marked his debut with a point at Anfield as his side played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with Liverpool.
Leandro Trossard’s two goals in the first half gave the Italian manager of the Seagulls what appeared to be the perfect start.
But Roberto Firmino’s strikes, one of which required a VAR review to overturn an offside call, pulled the Reds back even.
In order to complete the comeback, they forced Adam Webster to score into his own net from a corner, and they appeared to be headed for a much-needed victory.
Trossard, though, scored once more with six minutes remaining at the Kop end to give the visitors a well-earned draw.
