Finally some good news for Liverpool as injured Liverpool midfield maestro set for imminent training return

Liverpool have reportedly been handed a major fitness boost with the news that Thiago Alcantara is poised for an imminent return to training.

The crucial component of Liverpool’s midfield, the Spain international, has been absent due to injury at the start of this season, along with Fabinho and Naby Keita, who are still out.

However, it now appears that Thiago will return to training tomorrow, as reported by The Athletic, and Reds fans will be hoping he can soon be fit to play and give their season the boost it needs.

Liverpool’s season hasn’t gotten off to the best of starts, but Alcantara’s comeback, along with his skillful passing and inventiveness with the ball, might make a significant improvement.

With the Merseyside giants only on nine points after their first six games, Jurgen Klopp’s team could only manage a 0-0 draw with struggling Everton yesterday — their third tie of the year.

Liverpool recruited Juventus’ Arthur Melo on a temporary loan in the summer, but some supporters will undoubtedly believe the club should have spent more money on a top-tier midfielder earlier in the transfer season.
