Liverpool summer target Khephren Thuram drops huge hint on his next club amid Alexis Mac Allister Liverpool deal
Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram responded to news of Alexis Mac Allister’s imminent transfer to Liverpool by offering a possible indication about his future.
Mac Allister, 24, appears to have reached a personal agreement with Liverpool and will likely leave Brighton in the days to come.
The Reds are about to activate a release clause in his contract at the Amex Stadium, according to transfer analyst Fabrizio RomanoFabrizio Romano, who says the Argentina international has agreed to join them.
“Alexis Mac Allister to Liverpool, here we go! Full agreement completed on the contract – understand it will be valid until June 2028. Five year deal. #LFC,” tweeted Romano on Monday.
“Liverpool will pay the buy out clause in the next days, way less than reported £60m fee. Medical tests in 24/48h. Done.”

Mac Allister is destined for Liverpool
Mac Allister now looks set to become Liverpool’s first signing of the upcoming transfer window, which officially opens for English clubs on June 14.
And after a disappointing campaign, Jurgen Klopp’s team is expected to add a number of midfielders this summer. He might be rapidly followed by more signings.
Both Manu Kone of Borussia Monchengladbach and Khephren Thuram of Nice, the son of illustrious France great Lilian Thuram, have been linked with moves to Anfield.
After making 48 appearances for Nice this season in all competitions and scoring twice, Khephren, 22, has generated interest from the Merseyside club.
Thuram ‘likes’ Mac Allister transfer picture
The midfielder has fuelled speculation he could be on his way to Liverpool this summer after ‘liking’ a post on Instagram about Mac Allister’s deal to join the Reds.
The post, published by 4-3-3, showed a picture of Mac Allister celebrating in a Liverpool shirt.
According to L’Equipe, Liverpool are preparing an offer for Thuram, with Nice willing to let him go if their asking price of €40m (£34.5m) is met.
However, Thuram has publicly played down a move away from the French club this summer.

Speaking at the UNFP Trophies ceremony (via Liverpool Echo), Thuram said: “I want to progress, go on the field, have fun. For now, I’m in Nice. It’s going very well. I really like the club, so I still see myself in Nice. I am very well in Nice.
There are noises, I hear, but I’m happy in Nice. I hope to grow with this club. I would like [caretaker manager Didier] Digard to stay because he brought a lot to this group when it was in a difficult period.
“I don’t know if I tell him enough but he’s someone I can never thank enough. He helped me a lot in difficult times in my young career.
“We worked a lot together. I wish him only happiness, in Nice, or elsewhere.”
