Watch: Jurgen Klopp furious as he admits Darwin Nunez will have to be out for a long time
Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp suggested there was a small benefit to be gleaned from Darwin Nunez’s time out away from league games after the Uruguayan was sent off for a headbutt on Joachim Andersen.
Klopp revealed that the 23-year-old would now be able to enjoy something of a second pre-season getting in better physical shape to better handle the rigours of the Premier League.
It is a moment Nunez will want to quickly forget and move on, no thanks to his antics that almost cost the Reds the game.
