“Do the deal now” – Watch Jurgen klopp sent a transfer message why Jude Bellingham deal must happen this summer amid ‘impossible’ decision
For a while now, the reds have been speculatively linked with a move for Jude Bellingham.
Jude Bellingham is a star player for Borussia Dortmund, and Liverpool has been urged to pursue a deal for him as soon as possible rather than waiting until the summer of 2019.
After making an impression at Dortmund over the past few years, Bellingham is regarded as one of Europe’s most promising midfielders and has been linked with a move to Anfield for some time.

According to recent sources, Liverpool might try to recruit Bellingham soon but let him stay at Dortmund until the conclusion of the following season, at which point he would return to Merseyside.
Johnson, a former Reds defender, disagrees, arguing that Bellingham’s potential to immediately fit into Jurgen Klopp’s first-team plans makes such a trade ineffective.
“You’d usually operate a transfer like that with young players if they’re currently not good enough to get into your team,” Johnson told GGRecon when quizzed on Liverpool’s reported interest in Bellingham.
“Jude could improve Liverpool’s team now. I see pros and cons for that sort of deal because Jude will have half an eye on Liverpool if they sign him before he leaves Dortmund.
“Of course, he would remain professional and do what he has to do for Dortmund but it would almost be impossible to not focus on your new club.
“If you’re going to spend the money then do the deal now because he’s good enough to play now anyway.”
Before the new Premier League season begins at the beginning of next month, it is still unclear whether Liverpool will ultimately opt to pursue a transfer for Bellingham.
He has a contract with Dortmund that lasts until the summer of 2025, and it seems doubtful that the German giants will agree to permit his exit after losing Erling Haaland to Manchester City earlier in the year.
Since the end of the previous season, Liverpool has also invested heavily to bring in Darwin Nunez from Benfica, and they may decide to hold off on any other pricey acquisitions for the time being.
When questioned about it last month, Klopp stated that he is not likely to pursue any additional deals this summer by saying that he is satisfied with his present team.
