Manchester united set asking price for Superstar forward Cristiano Ronaldo

According to a report from the Brazilian news outlet UOL (via the Metro), Manchester United is willing to sell Cristiano Ronaldo for just £13 million this summer.

In the summer of last year, the eccentric Portuguese player who had left Old Trafford for Real Madrid in Spain twelve years earlier, returned.

Ronaldo led by example, as was to be expected, scoring 24 goals in 38 games to become the Red Devils’ leading scorer.

Despite his best efforts, United fell short of a top-four Premier League finish and was unexpectedly eliminated from all three cup tournaments.

The former Juventus player reportedly told United that he wants to join a team that can compete for the Champions League.

Additionally, he is dissatisfied with how Eric ten Hag’s team fared in the transfer market and believes that both Manchester City and Liverpool have gained ground.

He had just under a year left on his deal, thus United apparently wanted to keep him for another campaign. But as of right now, Ten Hag and the board are alright with him departing.

Ronaldo’s suitors might just need to pay approximately £13 million to get him away from Old Trafford.

Chelsea, United’s Premier League opponents, apparently have the opportunity to recruit the Portuguese star.

This summer, it’s thought that Ronaldo would be open to heading to Stamford Bridge. Todd Boehly, the new co-owner of Chelsea, is also eager to sign him.

Thomas Tuchel, the head coach, must decide whether or not Ronaldo fits into his plans, therefore everything rests on his shoulders.
