Three Liverpool players set to demand higher wages if Salah’s request is granted

Liverpool and Mohamed Salah  are yet to reach conclusion over a new deal as the situation continues to linger.

The Egyptian forward is reportedly asking for upwards of £400,000-per-week, the negotiations could become quite lengthy.

However, if Salah eventually gets his way, these players will also ask for bigger salaries – it’s hard to say they don’t deserve it.

Sadio Mane has been a key member of Jurgen Klopp Liverpool side, since he joined the club in 2016.

The fact is, the Senegalese has been delivering the goods, almost as consistently as Salah – he’s scored 111 goals for the Reds in just over 250 appearances.

With his contract also expiring in 2023, Mane will likely demand a pay rise just like his teammate Salah if Liverpool meets his demand.

Another is Boby Firmino who is likely eyeing the development of Salah’s contract saga, wondering what he could ask for.

The Brazil international will become a free agent next year unless Liverpool gives him a new deal.

Firmino is one player that has not contributed much to the team recently, but one cannot overlook contributions over the years.

If Liverpool are to offer him a new deal, it must come in a bumper package.

Jurgen Klopp has expressed his satisfaction with Keita and how the player is finally settling at Liverpool.

However, Keita’s deal expires in 2023 and he wants a new one soon. That would not be on the same wage if we take into account ‘Salah’s new wage’.
