Virgil van Dijk joked that Liverpool team-mate Fabinho has ‘no respect’ after the Brazilian took a sublime panenka penalty in the shootout win over Chelsea.
The 28-year-old took the Red’s second spot-kick and showed icy composure to let Kepa Arrizabalaga sit in the Blues net and ding the ball down the middle.
Having the nerves to try, let alone pull it off, highlights the unreal ability of the Brazil international.
It’s great to see every member of the squad gets along and Liverpool fans will love it when Van Dijk yells at the camera: “No respect, we’re chipping now.”
Fabinho has been in fine form this season and many fans will hope he continues to help the club lift more trophies.
