Liverpool fans react to Alisson’s “exceptional” performance in the victory over Crystal Palace
Following the 3-1victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday, some Liverpool fans took to Twitter to react to goalkeeper Alisson’s “Exceptional” performance against the Eagles in the Premier League.
Virgil van Dijk and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored to give Liverpool a 2-0 lead in the first half.
Also Fabinho scored from the penalty spot in the second half to seal all three points for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
It wasn’t exactly a great performance from Liverpool, who could have conceded more than one goal if it hadn’t been for Alisson.
The Brazil international goalkeeper made some brilliant saves, including one in the second half to keep the Reds in the lead.
Liverpool defence were caught off-guard on a few occasions, but the Palace players found it difficult to beat an inform inspired Alisson.
The win at Selhurst Park means that Liverpool are now second in the Premier League table with 48 points from 22 matches, 9 points behind Defending champions Manchester City who are at the top of the Premier League with 57 points from 23 games.
Liverpool have closed the gap on city after the Citizen’s dropped points at the weekend following a 1-1 draw at Southampton.
