Manchester United star slammed by fans on social media following poor performance against Wolves
Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been blasted by club fans online following poor performance In the red Devis 1-0 home defeat to Wolverhampton.
Wan-Bissaka and his teammates fell to Bruno Lage’s side at Old Trafford on Monday, with Joao Moutinho finding the back of the net for the visitors in the 82nd minute.
And the right-back was the target of his shocking display, with fans wildly targeting his attacking abilities.
He came under fire for a particular moment in the second half when Cristiano Ronaldo brilliantly recovered the ball, but the 24-year-old couldn’t get anything out of it.
He completely miscued his attempt to cross the ball, kicking the ball offside in a damning moment that sums up his offensive prowess.
Wan-Bissaka was replaced by Anthony Elanga a few minutes after United conceded the goal.
The defeat leaves United in seventh place, two points behind sixth-placed Tottenham and four points adrift Arsenal who occupy the last Champions League spot.
