Predicted Liverpool XI vs Crystal Palace: team news, Predicted Lineup, injury update, prediction.

Liverpool will travel to South London as they tackle Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds recorded a 2-0 victory during the week over Arsenal at Emirates Stadium ahead of the Palace game.

Liverpool are 11 points behind Pep Guardiola’s men with a game in hand, and they cannot afford to drop any more points if they are to stay in the title race.

Matip was replaced by Ibrahima Konate as a precaution at half-time in the 2-0 win at the Emirates Stadium and will be assessed before the match against Palace.

If Matip is not fit, Konate will be a substitute alongside Virgil van Dijk.

Jurgen Klopp will hope Fabinho will be fit after the midfielder received what Jurgen Klopp described as a “proper knock” in the tackle that saw Thomas Partey sent off for Arsenal.

Also, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who missed the Arsenal game with an ankle problem will be assessed ahead of the clash.

The trio of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, and Naby Keita are still away at the Africa Cup of Nations.

The rest as far as I know were only knocks,” said Klopp on Friday. “Yes, we got knocks, proper knocks. Wow, second yellow from Partey against Fabinho, that was a proper knock.

“I didn’t hear anything so that’s most of the time positive, but sometimes I get surprised after the press conference. But I don’t know anything else.”

Harvey Elliott returned to training with the first team this week for the first time since the ankle ligament injury he sustained at Leeds last September.
He could return early next month.
