PERSONAL TERMS AGREED: Manchester United to make €35m opening bid for midfielder – Erik ten Hag sees him as ‘priority’
It’s now time for the Uruguayan media to say something about Manchester United’s interest in Paris Saint Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte.
They claim Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has Ugarte as a ‘priority’ arrival to fill the defensive midfielder role in the team.
The report says an initial €35m offer from the Red Devils is now expected. And the player seems keen on the move, as it’s said he’d be delighted to play in the Premier League.
Manchester United’s interest in Ugarte was reported by the English media earlier this week, with Uruguay Fichajes covering the news, and it seems it’s only now that they managed to get some of their own information on this chase.
Last summer that Paris Saint Germain spent €60m to sign the midfielder from Sporting. Back then, he was already linked with a Premier League move.
With Manchester United now expected to let Casemiro go, it seems there could be another South American to replace him.
