Liverpool transfer: Fabrizio Romano provides exciting update on two Liverpool transfer targets

Chelsea star Mason Mount is allegedly one of Liverpool’s top targets this summer, and a deal for Brighton star Alexis MacAllister is also moving forward.

After a poor season in which they are destined to lose out on a spot in the top four, the Reds appear to require a significant midfield reorganization this summer.

Multiple midfield additions appear to be on the club’s radar now that it has been formally revealed that the midfield trio of James Milner, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will depart Anfield at the conclusion of the current campaign.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano provided an update on the situation, with Mount and Mac Allister both said to be priorities for Liverpool

Still, Romano added that incoming Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino wants to keep the England international, so that could complicate things, while he also surely won’t come cheap.

Liverpool would do very well, however, if they could sign these two proven Premier League players to strengthen the main area of weakness in their squad.
