Liverpool next 6 fixtures compared to premier league title rivals Manchester City

The reds are struggling for the Premier League title against rivals Manchester City and here is their upcoming fixture list compared to Manchester City

Liverpool FC are still stronger in the Premier League title race after the latest round of matches this weekend.

Liverpool FC had a narrow 1-0 win over West Ham on Saturday, with a first half goal from Sadio Mane which was the only goal in the match.

Elsewhere, Manchester City won Manchester United 4-1 to restore their six-point lead over Liverpool – but have played one game more than the Reds.

And there is still City vs Liverpool at the Etihad to come next month.

Here’s a look at City and Liverpool’s next six fixtures, to see how they compare.

Liverpool’s next six Premier League fixtures;

Brighton (a) – March 12

Brighton are one of only three teams to take a point away from Anfield this season.

Liverpool fc threw away a chance of a two goal lead on that occasion, but with that bump in the road still fresh in the memory they will be looking to close things out far more efficiently here.

Arsenal (a) – March 16

Rescheduled, thanks to their involvement in the Carabao Cup final, the Reds have already won at the Emirates Stadium this season, in the semi-final second leg of FA cup.

Never a particularly easy place to go, Liverpool will need to be at their best to see off Mikel Arteta’s men.

Watford (h) – April 2

Relegation threatened Watford famously beat Jurgen Klopp’s side 3-0 when the Reds were on the way to their 19th league title, but supporters won’t be expecting any upsets here. Three points will be expected against Roy Hodgson’s Hornets.

Roberto Firmino will be hoping to be fit again for this one. Last time the two sides met he scored a hat-trick in a 5-0 win.

Manchester City (a) – April 10

This is the big one. Many believe that it will very difficult for Liverpool to reclaim the Premier League title without returning from the Etihad with an away win.

In what will unquestionably be the Reds’ toughest match of the season, Liverpool will need to deliver an incredible and epic performance to defeat rivals City. Win this one though and it may be the Reds who will be holding all the cards for the run in.

Aston Villa (a) – April 16

Yet another away game, but this time it’s against a team managed by the Kop’s favourite son Steven Gerrard, whose side made the Reds work very hard for a 1-0 Anfield win back in December.

Aston Villa have some exciting players such as Ollie Watkins and Jacob Ramsey, but it’s former Red Philippe Coutinho, who Liverpool will be keeping an eye on.

Everton (h) – April 23

Frank Lampard’s Toffees have found themselves in a relegation battle and with the former Chelsea legend trying his upmost to reverse his new club’s fortunes, Liverpool can expect no easy ride from their neighbours.

Manchester City’s next six Premier League matches

Crystal Palace (a) – March 14

Burnley (a) – April 2

Liverpool (h) – April 10

Wolves (a) – April 16

Watford (h) – April 23

Leeds United (a) – April 30
