Fabrizio Romano confirm former Liverpool star is now set to join Jose Mourinho at AS Roma
Famous Journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that former Red star Gini Wijnaldum is set to switch to Roma, a year after leaving Anfield for PSG.
The Dutchman had a successful five years with Liverpool, winning numerous trophies. He is best remembered for his key contribution to the 2018–19 season’s 4–3 comeback victory over Barcelona in the Champions League semifinals.
Unfortunately, the move to France hasn’t gone as well as our former No. 5 had hoped, but perhaps a change to Italy can help him regain his best form in the meantime.
Gini Wijnaldum is finally set to sign with AS Roma! Agreement reached as green light just arrived from Paris Saint-Germain on loan move. Time for documents, here we go soon 🚨🟡🔴 #ASRoma

The midfielder may find it difficult to succeed in the French capital now that Mauricio Pochettino has left as manager, so a reset of sorts could be quite helpful.
Best wishes to Wijnaldum as he looks to better his future regardless of what happens, especially considering how important and underrated he was to Jurgen Klopp’s well-oiled Liverpool engine in the past.
