Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has said that midfielder, Paul Pogba, played ‘very well,’ against Fulham in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
Solskjaer also described Pogba’s goal against Fulham as fantastic, while praising the Midfielder’s impressive form.
Man United came from behind to defeat Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage, thanks to goals from Edinson Cavani and Pogba.
Ademola Lookman gave the host an early lead in the first half.
“Fantastic goal by Paul and we had some other chances to finish the game but of course when it is just one goal, and the players they put on it is going to be like the heart in your mouth,” Solskjaer said in a post-match press conference after the game.
“Paul has really come on. He is fit, he can play in midfield, and he can play wide.
“That’s key with Paul, getting him match fit and running fit and he is now. He played very well.”
Man United’s next match is against Liverpool in the FA Cup on Sunday, the last meeting between both sides ended in a barren draw.
