Luka Modric and Rodrygo collaborated before the teenager tapped in from close range.

On the stroke of half-time, Modric provided another assist, this time to Vinicius, who tucked home from a tight angle.

Vinicius scored twice more in the second half to complete his hat-trick, which was his first for Real Madrid. He had Benzema to thank on 67 minutes when the Frenchman danced around the goalkeeper before passing to him practically on the goal-line for a tap-in.
