Mo Salah’s record-breaking goal took Liverpool to a 1-0 win over Brentford at Anfield on Saturday.
Salah was the only goal scorer in the game as his tap-in early in the first half took hosts to a 1-0 lead at half-time. With that goal, Mo Salah becomes the only player Liverpool history to score in 9 consecutive games at Anfield.
It was also Salah’s his 100th goal at Anfield. While Brentford created good chances in the second half, they failed to convert it into a goal and were left frustrated in front of roaring Liverpool fans.
Their sixth league win in a row left the Merseysiders in fifth spot on 62 points, one behind fourth-placed United, but the Red Devils have two games in hand over Liverpool. Brentford are ninth on 50 points.
