UEFA Champions League: Real Madrid XI vs Atalanta, Predicted Lineup, preview, team news.

Real Madrid are fully focused on their next UEFA Champions League game against Atalanta after Zinedine Zidane lined up a different formation (3-4-3) in his side 2-1 victory over Elche at the weekend.

With Los Blancos 1-0 up from the first leg thanks to a goal from Ferland Mendy, they will have an advantage in this match but they cannot take anything for granted against Atalanta who will surely give them many more problems than they did in the first leg.

Goalkeeper
In every match, Thibaut Courtois finds a way to be decisive with some phenomenal saves that somehow keep Real Madrid in the game. Real will be relying on his brilliance on Tuesday night as the Belgian will want to continue proving that he is one of the best in the world.

Defenders
With Sergio Ramos back after successfully completing 60 minutes against Elche, things could be a little different in this game. It seems that Zidane is comfortable giving Nacho Fernández a chance at right back in place of Lucas Vázquez,

while the central pair of Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos is expected to return. On the left, the first leg scorer will want to find ways to make a difference once again, as Ferland Mendy will be the one chosen to start on the night.

Midfielders
Things get a bit complicated for Zidane here because we have all seen how much he trusts Carlos Casemiro, who this time will not be available due to suspension.

The most likely replacement is Federico Valverde, who is not exactly a perfect stand-in for Casemiro, but he is the closest you can get to that in the team.

In front of him will be Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, who will be in charge of more defensive tasks than they are used to to cover the absence of the Brazilian.

Marco Asensio hopes to start and will need a lot of improvements over the last few months.

On the left, all signs point to Rodrygo Goes, who made the difference in the match against Elche. the brilliant Karim Benzema will start the game and will want to be as decisive as he has been in the last two games.
