Tottenham to Investigate Serge Aurier for Breaching lockdown rule for the Third time

Tottenham defender Serge Aurier is set to be investigated by the London club after he broke the social distancing rule while getting a hair cut.

Aurier, 27, had on Tuesday, posted a picture of himself and a hairstylist on Instagram.

A Tottenham statement said: “We are investigating the circumstances and will deal with the incident appropriately.”

The defender had previously posted a video of himself training alongside teammate Moussa Sissoko and was also pictured running with a friend during the lockdown.

He has since apologised on both occasions. Tottenham hotspurs have been criticised when manager Jose Mourinho was spotted training with Tanguy Ndombele.

Premier League clubs were permitted to resume training on Tuesday after an agreement was reached between all 20 clubs and the Association.

On Tuesday, six individuals tested positive for the coronavirus and will have to Self-isolate for a period of seven days before returning to training.
