Jose Mourinho has been sanctioned by UEFA following a late kick-off in Spurs 1-0 loss to Royal Antwerp set to be caused by the Tottenham Manager.
Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has been hit with a one-match ban in the European competition by UEFA.
The punishment came as a result of Spurs late Kick-off in their Europa League loss to Belgian side Royal Antwerp, Mourinho was said to be responsible for the delay.
Tottenham were also fined €25,000 for being responsible for the late kick-off, while the Premier League side were also €3,000 for infringing the UEFA equipment regulations.
The Portuguese made nine changes to his team prior to the Antwerp meeting and made it clear after the game that he would try not to rely on his squad players again.
‘You know what our best team is,’ he said after the loss. ‘I always like to think the players deserve an opportunity.
