Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is excited to reveal his transfer plans for the summer after an impressive season and also after an important meeting with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

However, I think that winning a Champions League gives you the right as a manager, to be fully backed by the board and supporters right?

And it looks seamlessly easy for Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel to get that after beating Manchester City on Saturday to win the trophy.

Blues owner Roman Abramovich was at the game and he was seen on the pitch speaking with Tuchel in the midst of the celebrations, this was the first time the pair had spoken since Tuchel took charge in January.

The German boss then held further talks with Abramovich on Sunday, according toThe Guardian, to discuss transfer business this summer.

Tuchel says he is looking to sign two or three players this summer to strengthen the squad and make them a team able to challenge for the Premier League title next season.

This has a feel of a team that is just getting started.

“The belief is very strong,” said Tuchel.

“We have a group with a very strong bond. It’s still a young squad. It’s the challenge now to make this not too heavy for us, this huge success.

“Two or three [new signings] could be very, very good,” he said. “We don’t need another seven. But we have some ideas to make the group stronger.”
