Delighted with the win over Jose Mourinho’s men, Tuchel said Chelsea need to improve their “killer instinct” in front of goal and improve their aggressiveness in the box.

The former PSG boss recorded a second win in his first three games as Chelsea coach thanks to Jorginho’s penalty in the first half at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Every experience we have is progress if we are open to learning from it, ”Tuchel told BT Sport.

β€œWe were in complete control of the game throughout the first half, right at the top of the pitch. Maybe we lost confidence in the second half because we lost possession.

“We have never lost our beliefs or our structure. When it is necessary to suffer, it is necessary to suffer.

“A little more killer instinct and more aggressive in the pits, it would have been nice to have made up my mind and there were chances that we lacked a bit of determination in the pits.
