Striker sends message to Chelsea fans after signing five-year contract with the club.

Chelsea  striker Armando Broja has signed a new five-year contract at Stamford Bridge.

Former Blue coach Frank Lampard handed the 19-year-old his first-team bow in March 2020 against Everton in what turned out to be Chelsea’s last game before the Premier League campaign was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.

He spent the 2020-21 season on loan at Vitesse in an attempt to build on his first-team experience, where he has impressed many in Blue fans and despite all the rumors that he could be sold, Chelsea have announced that he has agreed on a new contract with the club.

And after the announcement was made, Broja has taken to social media to announce just how delighted he is to have wrapped up another contract with the club: “I am really excited to be signing a new contract with Chelsea,” Broja told the club’s official website.

“Having come through the Academy here it was a special moment for me to make my first-team debut last year, before gaining further experience on loan at Vitesse last season.

Broja is a talent that many Chelsea fans have been waiting for to be given more opportunities in the first team throughout the seasons, so now that Tuchel has managed to get the club to hand him a new contract, he may have an opportunity

Many talents are lost to the Chelsea system or simply sold, so again, many are hoping that this deal means that it will be given a chance this season.
