Spurs stars, Aurier and Sissoko apologises for flaunting social distancing guidelines

The duo of Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko have apologised after they disobeyed government guidelines on social distancing amid the coronavirus.

Tottenham will be speaking with Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko after the duo disobeyed government guidelines on social distancing during the pandemic lockdown.

Aurier 27, posted a video of himself training on social media on Tuesday, alongside his team-mate, Sissoko. The video showed him running next to Sissoko, Ignoring the social distance guidelines.

Spurs manager Jose Mounrinho was spotted last two weeks having a one-on-one training session with French midfielder Tanguy Ndombele and was forced to acknowledge his negligences.

Just like their teammate Ryan Sessegnon and Davison Sanchez were filmed running side by side on the same day.

“We shall be speaking to both players.” the club spokesman said in a state

The pair have since apologised for their wrongdoing and pledged to donate to the NHS.

The statement read, “We wish to apologise for not setting the right example here. We must all respect the Government’s advice to minimise the number of lives lost during this pandemic.

“We cannot thank NHS staff enough for their tireless work at this time and we shall both be making a financial donation to show our support for their efforts.”
