Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer explained that Marcus Rashford had a “little twinge” in the Red Devils 1-0 win over AC Milan on Thursday night, but he hopes it’s nothing serious.

The English international was substituted by Solskjaer at half-time, and Paul Pogba came in for him.

Pogba scored just minutes after coming on  from the bench as United advanced to the Europa League quarter-finals.

But while it was a great night for Pogba and the club, Solskjaer will now face a nervous wait as to whether Rashford is fit for Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-finals against Leicester.

“He had a little twinge,’ Solskjaer said in his post-match press conference.

“We couldn’t take the risk with him. Hopefully he won’t be too bad.”
