Solskjaer gives injury update on Paul Pogba, Eric Bailly and Phil Jones ahead of FA Cup clash against West Ham

Manchester United Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have confirmed that Paul Pogba will be out “a few weeks” after he was injured in a 3-3 draw with Everton at the weekend.

According to Solskjaer, Paul Pogba and Phil Jones, along with Eric Bailly would not take part in Man United’s squad to tackle West Ham at Old Trafford due to injury.

 

Pogba limped out during United’s clash with the Toffees on Saturday night to be replaced by Fred.

 

And now the club has revealed that the World Cup winner will be sidelined until at least the end of the month due to a thigh problem.

 

“Eric is improving. We do not believe that he is not available for tomorrow’s Cup match, “Solskajer said Monday on Man United’s official website.

β€œHe has been on the grass and training and tomorrow we will make a decision. I don’t think he will be involved.

 

“Everyone [the others] is available and trained this morning, except Phil [Jones], who is still out.”

 

He added : β€œOf course, Paul has been very important to us and we are not taking any chances. [So] definitely a few weeks. ”

 

This means Pogba will miss Premier League games against West Ham, West Brom, and Europa League clash against Real Sociedad.
