Cavani suffered a blow during Man United’s win against Southampton on Tuesday, while Bailly was not involved in the match.

Providing an update on his players, Solskjaer said in his pre-game press conference on Friday, “Edinson should be available, yes, definitely.

“He had a bad knuckle ankle. Eric [Bailly] is a doubt. Other than that, everyone is eager to go.”

He added: “Sergio is working hard, training. He is in the group. Of course, he missed a lot of training early in the season.

“He joined us very late after having spent time at home, and also at Christmas, he has spent time in Argentina with the family. He is working with the keepers. But of course with Dean [Henderson] and Lee [Grant] and David [De Gea], it’s been more difficult to get into the team of the match. ”
