Pogba has less than 18 months left on his current contract and agent Mino Raiola said publicly in December that the Frenchman will not sign an extension.

The 27-year-old has had a good run of form having returned from successive injuries and Covid-19 and was voted United’s January Player of the Month.

“I’m happy that he’s focused and playing really well, and he’s happy with himself and that’s important, you can see Paul enjoying football in a red jersey,” Solskjaer said.
