Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has been left out of the trip to Sevilla for the Saturday clash.

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos sustained a hamstring injury in November while on international duty with Spain, has reportedly returned to training with the La Liga champions.

Coach  Zinedine Zidane  revealed in a press conference that the 34-year-old would only make the trip to Sevilla if only he has fully recovered.

“We’re not going to take any chances with Sergio Ramos,” Zidane said.

“I don’t want to play a player who has a problem and then he makes it worse. We want all the players back”.

Los Blancos have lost two matches and won one and one draw in the Absence of the Spaniard, in all competitions.

Speaking on the game, Zidane said he is confident in his player ability to respond to their difficult situation.

“We know what the situation is and we are aware of it. We want to compete and this is another chance to move on. I believe in my players and that’s important.

“The situation is difficult but we have been through it several times. We’re going to show what Real Madrid is all about” (h/t
