The Portuguese International told Juventus he won’t be returning anytime soon after his teammate Daniele Rugani tested positive for Coronavirus.
Christiano Ronaldo is currently at his home town Medira in Portugal as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the infection.
Ronaldo had traveled to the Portuguese Island to visit his mother who suffered a stroke but has decided to stay until it is safe to return.
Danielle Rugani last played for Juventus on the 22nd of February 2020. The defender tweeted a picture of him celebrating with his teammate over the weekend in their 2-0 Victory over Inter Milan.
Juventus are in one of the most affected areas in Italy. The government had reported within last week that about 16 million people have been quarantined and placed a restriction on the movement of people.
Serie A matches have been put on hold till April 3rd with the hope of controlling the spread of the Virus.
