
Cristiano Ronaldo missed the chance to add to his collection of medals as Juve lost out on penalties 4-2 to Napoli in the Coppa Italia.
Napoli vs Juventus ended in a goalless draw after 90 minutes and the game was decided on penalties as Napoli won 4-2 at the Stadio Olimpico.
This is the third time Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus are losing in a final, since his arrival at Turin. Having lost to Lazio in the 2019 edition of the Coppa Italia and 2020 Super Cup.
Ronaldo had a disappointing semifinal match against AC Milan and also was anonymous for the most part of the match.
Napoli created chances in the first half after lorenzo insigne hit the post and towards the end of the normal time as Gianluigi Buffon was forced into making a last-minute goal-line save in added time to send the game into penalties.
The former Real Madrid man was not involved in the shot out.

Juventus failed to convert their first two spot-kick, with Paulo Dybala seeing his saved and his mate Danilo shooting his over the Bar. But Lorenzi Insigne and Politano were on hand to score for Gattuso’s side before Arkadiusz Milik sealed the victory by netting the winning penalty for the Naples.

Napoli’s win is their first major trophy in six seasons and Gennaro Gattuso first trophy as manager of the Gli Azzurri only after 17 games in charge of the Serie A side.
