Reports; Premier league rivals Arsenal interested in Chelsea forward

Arsenal fc are interested in signing Chelsea outcast Tammy Abraham this summer, per The Daily Telegraph.

The English youngster Tammy Abraham is free to depart  Chelsea after dropping completely out of the picture under Thomas Tuchel last season.

Chelsea want to offload the England international to help fund a big money move for the likes of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.

Tammy Abraham has been strongly linked with a move to West Ham and Chelsea are reportedly willing to include the forward in a deal with Dortmund for Haaland.

However, it has now emerged Mikel Arteta is keen on bringing Abraham across London to Arsenal if a deal can be struck.

Chelsea value Abraham at £40m but it’s unclear how high Arsenal are willing to bid for the 23-year-old in this current climate.

All clubs are currently counting the cost of the global pandemic and Arsenal’s finances were not in a great place anyway.

Abraham made 22 Premier League appearances for Chelsea last season but was limited to just 12 starts in that time since Thomas Tuchel appointment.

Despite barely featuring, only Jorginho (7) scored more Premier League goals for Chelsea than Abraham last season and they were all penalties.
