Sergio Ramos added to Madrid tally on the 30th minute after an assist from Eden Hazard who only recovered from injury during the long break.
On the 37 minutes, Eden Hazard had a one-on-one shot blocked by Eibar goalkeeper only for Marcelo to slam the ball into the left bottom corner of the visitor’s net to make it 3-0.
However, after forcing Thibaut Courtois into some good saves, Eibar pulled one back through Pedro Bigas on the hour mark, which gave the visitors some hopes, but it was not to be as Zinedine Zidane’s side had done the job in the first half of the game.
Real Madrid needed the win to match Barcelona’s comprehensive victory in yesterday’s game, and this they did and are currently 2 points away from Quique Setién men.
