Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has advised Shola Shoretire to cherish the moments he was given against Newcastle United on Sunday.
The 17-year-old was promoted by United earlier this month and the youngster made his first senior appearance after replacing Rashford in the 88th minute against Newcastle United.
Marcus Rahford opened the scoring with a powerful strike but the Man United’s lead was short-lived as Steve Bruce’s side pulled back through Saint-Maximin strike.
Second half goals from Daniel James and Bruno Fernandes put Manchester United on a comfortable lead and Solskjaer thought it would be good to hand the youngster his first full debut.
After the game, Rashford took to Twitter to react on Shoretire’s debut for the Red Devils.
“Cherish this moment for ever little bro. Your family must be very proud ♥️,” Marcus Rashford tweteed.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was pleased and praised the effort of the youngster on his debut for the Red Devils.
When asked if it was good to see Shoretire make his debut and get some minutes under his belt, Solskjaer told MUTV: “Yeah of course. And he’s going to keep playing many games for us if he keeps doing what he’s doing.
“He’s training really well, good boy with a good head on him. Hopefully he will have a good career with us.”
