The reds lost to Real Madrid in midweek after one of their worst performances, failing to sustain and utilize any of the positive momentum they achieved from winning Arsenal last weekend. They will be facing Aston Villa in the Premier League this weekend and they hope to get all 3 points as they battle to earn a spot for European competition.

Liverpool will be making a couple of changes in their line up against Aston Villa.
Alisson despite being unable to save the Reds in Madrid still retains the Number one spot,after conceding three goals in the champions league quarter finals first leg.

 

Trent Alexander-Arnold will start as right back despite struggling against Madrid. Liverpool need him to bounce back quickly against a resilient Aston Villa side.

 

Nat Phillips and Ozan Kabak are likely to start despite their loss at madrid. the Reds must adjust on Saturday as the were unable to manage long crossing balls into the 18 yard box by their opposition. Andy Robertson is set to start at left back.

Thiago Alcantara started on the bench on Tuesday, but that decision didn’t pay off for Liverpool. As madrid Really maximized their chances Thiago, Fabinho and Gini Wijnaldum is the best midfield the Reds have for now.
