The Manchester United forward has joined the Stamford Bridge club in a move valued at Β£ 200,000, a record between two clubs in the women’s Super League.

James, sister of Reece, England and Chelsea right back, has already agreed on personal terms and completed her medical examination.

The England international’s move was overseen by her father Nigel James, her agent Sam Stapleton and renowned sports lawyer Udo Onwere.

The 19-year-old had been a long-term target for the WSL champions, as reported by Sportsmail earlier this month, and negotiations have now drawn to a close.
