Transfer Real Madrid: Eduardo camavinga has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but obviously not this summer.
Camavinga, 17, has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but Rennes President has ruled out the option of selling him this summer and hopes to keep him for another summer according to MARCA.
The youngster was instrumental for Rennes in the just suspe helping his team book a champions league qualification, in the just suspended French league 1.
This could be the main reason why the French side have decided to keep him for another season.
Julien Stéphan lead side finished fourth on the league table a point above Lille to book a place in next season champions league.
“The plan for Eduardo Camavinga is for him to carry on with his progression here at Rennes, with great things expected from him next season,” Rennes president Nicolas Holveck told RTL.
“Our priority is to keep the team intact, as they have already displayed what a talented group they are.
“We need to be clever in the transfer market to improve the team and build the best one possible.”
Camavinga joined Rennes as an 11-year-old boy and has been part of their system. He became the youngest player to sign for the French club at age 16 in 2018 and has a contract with Rennes until 2022.
