Neymar surpasses Ronaldo's goal record for Brazil

Neymar became Brazil’s second-highest goal scorer as he netted a hat trick in Brazil 4-2 victory over Peru in the 2022 World Cup qualifier.

Brazil forward Neymar  Jr. netted a hat trick, two from the penalty spot, and a stoppage-time goal as Brazil trump Peru 4-2 in the 2022 World Cup qualifier, maintaining 100 percent in the Campaign.

Everton’s forward Ricarlison was also on target for Brazil as they bounced back twice to win a ten-man per side.

The 28-year-old now has 64 goals for his country while Pele has 77 and Ronaldo on 62, with time on the side of the Paris Saint-Germain star player.

Legendary Brazilian goalkeeper Taffarel believes Neymar is a ‘superstar’ talent who will also help the country win their first World Cup since 2002.
