“Most difficult period of My career.” Paul Pogba speaks on struggles at Manchester United.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has revealed that it is one of the most difficult of his footballing career after losing his place in the team.

Paul Pogba  has only managed to play 90 minutes twice this season, having suffered an injury earlier in the year and had coronavirus in the summer.

Thereby losing his starting position to the defensive holding duo of Scott McTominay and Fred, Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer preferred choices.

The former Juventus player has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with his contracting expiring in 18 months. He is unhappy for United not contacting him before the activation of an extension clause.

Pogba has been with the French national team over the week, helping them beat Portugal in the UEFA nations league on Saturday night.

“I had never known such a difficult period in my career,’ the midfielder told RTL France on Sunday.

“The France team is a breath of fresh air; the group is exceptional; it’s magic.”

Coach of the French national team Didier Deschamps spoke about Pogba struggled at United after their Shocking 2-0 loss to Finland, stating that the player has had a difficult time on and of the field of play due to the situation.

“He’s not in his best form, of course. I knew that before the game,’ said the French coach on Friday.

“This match was meant to give him some rhythm. He knew that he would only play for an hour.

“It’s hard to remember to be positive. Obviously, he’s not in one of his better periods.

“Like all players who have a club situation that is not positive, they are also impacted mentally. I know him well enough, and it can happen at some points.”
