Mohamed Salah “contacted” by PSG as Mbappe replacement, claims French media

Mohamed Salah has been have been caught in between the uncertain future of Kylian Mbappe at Paris Saint-Germain, with reports claiming Mo Salah’s representatives have been reached.

However, it comes as no surprise that Salah continues to finds himself linked with other clubs. The Egyptian scored 122 goals in less than four seasons at Anfield.

Barcelona and Real Madrid have reportedly shown interest in the Liverpool forward and PSG are the latest club to join the hunt for the Liverpool Forward, considering a potential future for Kylian Mbappe.

The World Cup winner is yet to sign a long-term contract with PSG, with his current contract running until 2022.

However, Julien Maynard from French outlet Telefoot stated Mbappe is seeking assurances over the club’s future plans.

Liverpool showed interest in Tottenham Hotspur Harry kane but are prioritizing Mo Salah So much so that “first contact” between the club and Salah’s representatives were made last month, no doubt to sound out any potential interest.

However, potential swap with Mbappe for Salah would not be without its complications but could be possible and certainly prove to be a win-win situation for both clubs incase both exits are respectively desired.

Liverpool have an ageing forward line and a move for Mbappe’s talent could be the boost Liverpool needs to push it’s attack.
