Mikel Arteta takes final decision on William Saliba Arsenal’s future

Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta looks to have made a final decision on the future of  William Saliba  who seems not to be a long-term plan of his team as north Londoners are hoping to cash in on the center-back, according to reports.

The Frenchman signed for the Gunners from Saint-Etienne in 2019 but was immediately loaned back to the Ligue 1 club, and has been in an impressive form for the greens back in France.

Saliba struggled to showcase his ability when allowed during last season’s pre-season failing to impress Mikel Arteta, and was left out of Arsenal’s squads for the Premier League and Europa League.

According to French newspaper L’ Equipe report Arsenal are actively looking to offload Saliba.

Gunner fans have been clamoring to see more of the 20-year-old next season, particularly with David Luiz leaving the club, but Arteta has a very different opinion of the defender.

Report has it that Arsenal have received inquiries for the players from Marseille to loan Saliba for one more season, but the Gunners have told suitors that they want to sell the center back this summer.
