Mexican clubs join the race to sign John Obi Mikel

Former Super Eagles Captain  John Obi Mikel is wanted by two Mexican Liga Mx clubs.

Mikel, 33, is currently without a club after he terminated his contract with Turkish club side Trabzonspor in March.

 The Nigeria International has since returned to England with his family, choosing to bee with his loved ones at this critical period.

John Mikel Obi has been reportedly linked with a move to the Mexican top division with Monterrey and Tigres reportedly interested in signing the former Super Eagles star.

Two Mexican Liga Mx clubs Monterrey and Tigres are interested in bringing Mikel the Mexican top-flight. according to TUDN

The former Chelsea midfielder has been previously linked with Brazilain clubs, Botafogo and Internacional
