Dr Marcus Rashford: Manchester United star receives Honorary Doctorate from the University of Manchester.
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has become the youngest receipt of the Honorary Doctorate Award from the University of Manchester for his campaign in the fight against child poverty.
The 22- year-old lead the campaign for about 1.3million children to receive free school meal voucher from the government in England in the summer holidays.
Manchester United legends Sir Alex Ferguson and Sir Bobby Charlton are among those to have previously received the award from the university.

England forward Rashford said it was “a proud day for myself and my family”.
Rashford said: “When you look at the great names that have been awarded this doctorate in the past, it’s humbling.
“We still have a long way to go in the fight to combat child poverty in this country but receiving recognition from your city means we are heading in the right direction and that means a lot.”
