Manchester United youngster Amad Diallo shows off battle Scares and fumes over foul against Granada

Amad Diallo has taken to social media after receiving a nasty bruise in Manchester United’s Europa League quarter-final victory over Granada on Thursday.

The Red Devils already had two away goals in the home game and any concerns were brushed aside after just six minutes when Edinson Cavani scored, to put Man United in the driving seat as they secured a 4-0 aggregate victory to set up a clash with Roma in the semifinals.

The Ivorian who netted against AC Milan in the last round was given a brief cameo off the bench, entering the contest in the 82nd minute in place of Mason Greenwood.

The home team pushed forward in an attempt to get a consolation goal, exposing their defence.

United broke clear following a Granada corner, with Diallo leading the counter and had the freedom of Old Trafford to race into and clean run through on goal.

However, he was clearly hindered by substitute Luis Suárez, not that one, who pulled him back and tried to knock him down as the last man.

Diallo managed to mount that first challenge only to be barged by Victor Diaz, but strangely the referee decided that none of the Granada players had committed a foul, much less deserved a red card.

The 18-year-old took to his Instagram stories to upload an image of his wrist – which had been grazed and cut when he was brought down as he raced through on goal – and added the caption ‘no foul’ alongside an annoyed emoji.
